For the Dual Sport rider who wants a true adventure and is up to the 

challenge of a 450 mile 3 day Dual Sport ride. This ride includes

 some of the best off road riding and scenery the Plumas National

 Forest has to offer.

 

This ride is 90% dirt recommended for experienced dual sport riders.
The ride covers many OHV and 4x4 trails, and is not suitable
for heavy adventure bikes or beginners.

All riders must have

·                                *     Current drivers license, registration and insurance

·                                All bikes must be street legal!!! and in good running order

·                                *Meet 96 DB limit with forest service approved spark arrestor

·                                *Must be able to go 110 miles between fuel stops

·                            *Must have roll chart holder or GPS (Bring USB cable.)

·                        *Protective riding gear helmet, goggles, boots, gloves ETC.

·                                  *All tools to make trail side repairs and fix flat tires

·                                   *Carry water, snack, first aid kit, cell phone

 You are responsible for yourself and those
that you ride with. Make sure you and your bike are prepared.

Ironman Dual Sport is a permittee of the
Plumas National Forest and is an equal opportunity service provider.

Directions to Staging Area

 

The staging area is located NE of Oroville CA. At 11144 Oro Quincy

 Hwy  (state route 162) aprox 21.1 Miles North of the intersection 

of Oroville Dam Blvd. and State Hwy 70.      N 39-39-72   

W 121-24-03 From the intersection of State Hwy 70 and Oroville

 Dam Blvd proceed East on Oro Dam Blvd aprox 1.6 mi. Turn right on

Olive Hwy this road becomes the Oro Quincy Hwy.Continue aprox

 19.5 miles, watch for“Dual Sport” sign on your right. There is

 parking for RV’sand camping @ staging area; No campfires, No noise.

and click on “places to stay”. Friday night Sept 9 will be spent in 

Portola there are also several nice motels just a few miles west

 in Graeagle. Saturday night, Sept 10 will be spent in Quincy.
Ironman dual sport will transport your small overnight bags
to each location and then back to the staging area on Monday.
